Sketch
comedy groups should be from 2-15 members, and have available a
5-15 minute standard VHS tape or NTSC DVD of their performance to
send in with their completed entry form for consideration.
There is a $30 application fee for groups who enter before February
1. Groups who wish to enter after February 1 (entries will not be
accepted after March 1), will need to pay a $45 entry fee, so please
enter early! These are the dates we need your materials by - they
are not postmark dates.
Participants selected will have to be able to get to Los Angeles
for the competition. We will be posting discounts for travel and
accommodations, but those expenses will not be covered by the I.S.C.C.
Selected participants will need to sign a release for the television
pilot filming. This competition is open to all ages, ethnicities,
etc., but please be aware that the skits must be presented in English,
and some content may not be suitable for children.
A small number of free tickets to the Los Angeles competition will
be provided to selected groups for friends/family. All submitted
materials including tapes/DVDs will not be returned, and I.S.C.C.
is not responsible for lost or damaged entries.
Groups will be judged on comedic skill, presentation, and audience
appeal. The judges for the final competition will be announced.
Sponsors and prizes subject to change. Entrants will be selected
and notified by March 7th. |
